Since its founding in 2004, SecurAmerica LLC has experienced significant growth and 2010 was no different. Increasing revenue 74.49 percent last year, the security company also saw a 44.9 percent jump in employee numbers. Providing manned guarding and contract security services, as well as guest relations and concierge services, the Atlanta-based company has made a name for itself in providing high-level customer service and credits much of its success to its reputation.
"We really focus on making that customer experience second to none, like they are going to get from no one else. That has really helped us grow," said CEO and founder Frank A. Argenbright. With many clients in the class A commercial high-rise market, including CB Richard Ellis Inc. and Jones Lange LaSalle Inc., the company also recently garnered a contract with Tishman Speyer. The company's chairman is former Cousins Properties Inc. CEO Tom Bell. On the corporate side, some of the company's biggest clients include Dell, The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. and FedEx.
SecurAmerica also serves the residential, hospitality and government sectors. With a goal to grow its business more than 20 percent year-over-year, the company is broadening its geographic footprint and making strategic acquisitions in markets large enough for continued growth.
In 2010, it acquired two companies in Boston and by the end of the year had grown them both by more than 20 percent. SecurAmerica has 30 offices nationwide.
"We feel very comfortable that we will be able to continue this growth," said President and Chief Operating Officer John K. Adams.
