Thomas Givens is Region Vice President of SecurAmerica’s Georgia Region. Thomas earned his criminal justice degree from Austin Peay State University. After graduation he served 14 years in the military and received several distinguished decorations and citations.
Thomas has been in the contract security industry for over ten years and has held multiple senior level management positions. His most recent position was District VP for a privately held national security firm where he was responsible for operations management of distinct Class A business within the Atlanta area. Prior to this role, Thomas spent eight years at one of the largest security firms in the country where he held various positions and helped to manage and grow the business year over year in the Atlanta area.
Thomas currently holds the highest certification in Homeland Security, CHS-V; and a CFC through American College of Forensic Examiners International (AFCEI). He is a member of ASIS, BOMA and is also a Certified Peace Officer in the state of Georgia.
