Thomas Givens is responsible for all customer service, business development, operations, quality assurance, human resources and profit and loss functions for the SecurAmerica in the US.
Thomas has been in the contract security industry for over twenty years and has held multiple senior level management positions. In one of the positions held prior to SecurAmerica, he served as District Vice President for Allied-Barton where he was responsible for operations management and customer service delivery of a large multi-vertical contract security operations including some of the following verticals: Logistics, Hospitality, Gated Communities, Distribution, High-rise Condos, Healthcare, Petroleum, Corporate Campuses and Signature High-profile Class A real estate within the Atlanta area. Prior to this role, Thomas spent eight years at Securitas, the world’s largest security service provider, where he served in multiple senior management positions, including Vice President of Quality Assurance.
Thomas currently holds the highest certification in Homeland Security, CHS-V and is a Certified Forensic Examiner through the American College of Forensic Examiners International (AFCEI). He is an active member of ASIS International, BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) and is also a Certified Peace Officer in the state of Georgia.
Thomas earned his Criminal Justice degree from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. After graduation, he served 14 years in the US Army and received several distinguished decorations and citations for combat and non-combat actions.
